Born and raised in the Pittsburgh PA area, Diana worked her way through beauty school in New Castle PA.
She opened her first Salon there within 5 years of graduation, The Diana Shornack Beauty Salon.
She still holds a PA license as well as having earned a New Hampshire license.
Her original salon was sold when she moved to New Hampshire.
She opened Steel Magnolias on June 6, 1996 in Salem.
The salon was moved to Windham in 2003 and opened the spa in 2005.
Hair styling has been her passion for more than 30 years.
